Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Full/Part Time Hygienist to join our office. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a fully fee for service practice. You will have the comfort of seeing only ONE patient per hour, allowing you to treat patients in a relaxed environment. We have a fully up to date office. Inquire to join our highly scaled and friendly team. We are a family oriented practice that values patient relationships in a pleasurable environment.Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct thorough oral examinations and assess patients' oral health
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in CT
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications, and offer a very rewarding compensation structure.
