Overview We are seeking a licensed, dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing various clinical tasks, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with the dental team to promote overall wellness. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Utilize aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment. Document patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and review vital signs as part of the initial patient assessment. Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control measures. Experience with medical coding related to dental services is a plus. Ability to take vital signs accurately. Strong attention to detail in documentation review and patient care. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and teamwork.
