REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

needed full-time for a pediatric dental office from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday (4 days a week). Occasional Saturdays (1 per month) also available if interested (but not required) in Spring, Fall and Winter from 8:00am-1:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings and scaling
• Conduct patient assessments and oral health screenings
• Provide oral hygiene instructions and educate patients on proper dental care techniques
• Take dental x-rays
• Maintain a clean and sterile working environment
• During down time, perform dental office administrative tasks (send text reminders, verify dental insurance, recall list, answer phones, schedule patients, etc.

)

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Proficiency with Eaglesoft (preferred but not required)
• Experience working with children

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate record keeping
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using dental instruments and equipment for patient care
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to aseptic techniques We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
