Responsibilities:
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) Conduct oral cancer screenings Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide personalized care instructions Administer local anesthesia as permitted Assist the dentist during procedures as needed Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with and understanding of dental coding Prior dental experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with modern dental instruments and equipment Please note that additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the practice.
