Utilize Dentrix software for documentation and patient record management. Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures alongside the dentist. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before filing. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency. Skills The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: Proficient in documentation review and maintaining accurate patient records. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring to ensure patient safety. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to assist effectively during procedures. Background in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in pediatrics, particularly in managing young patients' needs. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure infection control. Basic knowledge of medical coding related to dental procedures. Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments for tailored care plans. Specialized knowledge in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
