Full Job Description Overview:
SIGN-IN BONUS
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care and hygiene services to our patients, ensuring their dental health and well-being.Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists in patient care procedures
- Perform oral health assessments and take patient medical histories
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in [State]
- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing procedures
- Ability to perform patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring
