Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) ensuring accurate positioning and safety protocols are followed Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, documenting all treatments and observations clearly Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations Skills Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and record management Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and medical coding practices Experience with pediatric dentistry, including providing specialized care for children in a compassionate manner Expertise in dental equipment operation, X-ray safety procedures, and maintaining dental office sterilization standards Excellent communication skills for client interaction, patient education, and team collaboration Ability to perform patient care tasks such as vital signs measurement and patient assessment with precision Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention and control practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Join us in making a difference through energetic service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
