Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options to foster long-term dental health. Assist with various dental procedures such as prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed. Manage electronic medical records using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate seamlessly with dentists and dental assistants to coordinate care plans and facilitate efficient clinic operations. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience working in general dentistry or specialized fields such as pediatric dentistry or oral surgery within a dental clinic setting. Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding practices relevant to dental care. Familiarity with procedures involving prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and other specialty areas is highly desirable. Ability to accurately assess patient needs through vital signs measurement and clinical evaluation. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral health practices and treatment plans.
