Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and professional Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team at Woodridge Family Dental. In this role, you will provide top-tier preventive oral care, educate patients on optimal dental hygiene practices, and work closely with our doctors and clinical team.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Care:

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, and apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants.

Patient Assessments:

Conduct oral cancer screenings, assess periodontal health, record pocket depths, and accurately chart findings.

Radiography:

Take and process high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.

Eaglesoft Workflow:

Document all patient history, clinical findings, treatment plans, and notes directly into Eaglesoft efficiently and accurately.

Patient Education:

Educate patients of all ages on proper home-care techniques, nutritional counseling, and recommended dental therapies.

Sterilization & Safety:

Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, and infection control standards, ensuring a sterile and safe clinical environment.

Qualifications & Skills Licensure:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Illinois.

Technical Proficiency:

Hands-on experience navigating and charting in Eaglesoft software is preferred.

Clinical Skills:

Excellent manual dexterity, clinical competence, and accuracy in periodontal charting. Experience in laser dentistry is a plus.

Communication:

Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build quick rapport with patients.

Availability:

Capability and willingness to work a robust schedule.
