Job Description

ABOUT US
We are an established, privately owned dental practice in Crown Point with a strong patient base, a cohesive team, and a culture built around clinical excellence and genuine patient care. We are not a corporate office — decisions are made by an owner-clinician who still practices alongside the team every day.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced RDH to join our hygiene department in either a full-time or part-time capacity. You will manage an established recare base, conduct thorough periodontal assessments, and partner with the doctor on treatment planning and case presentation. This is a practice where hygiene is taken seriously. You will have the time, tools, and support to do the job right.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments and accurate clinical charting
  • Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), and adjunctive perio therapies
  • Identify and present treatment needs to patients with clarity and care
  • Partner with the doctor on co-diagnosis and same-day treatment opportunities
  • Educate patients on home care and long-term oral health in a way that builds lasting trust
  • Contribute positively to team culture and morning huddles
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active Indiana RDH license in good standing
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience with SRP and perio maintenance — not just prophy-focused
  • Comfortable with digital radiography and practice management software
  • Strong communicator — with patients and with colleagues
  • Local anesthesia certification preferred
  • Nitrous oxide monitoring certification a plus
