Job Summary Attractive private practice established over 65 years ago in Bridgewater, with an amazing patient base is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist for Fridays. Someone who is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-tailored dental hygiene care in a friendly environment with great growth potential. The doctors and the whole team are ready to work with the right candidate to develop their skills. We care about work/life balance . Seeking Registered Dental Hygienist with an active MA license In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) CPR and Radiology certifications A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail A team player •One hour prophy appointments• The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist. Right now we are in need for only Fridays and per-diem, but might be able to add more days in the future. The practice hours Monday - Thursday 8-5, Friday 7-2 and every other Saturday 8-1 Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Review and maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans. Assist in the documentation review process to ensure compliance with health regulations. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Take and interpret medical imaging as required for patient assessments. Monitor vital signs when necessary, ensuring patient safety during treatments. Collaborate with dentists and other staff in a dental clinic setting to provide comprehensive care. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, adapting techniques for younger patients. Skills Proficient in dental assisting practices and procedures. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health. Familiarity with medical records management systems. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus. Ability to perform medical imaging effectively. Excellent documentation review skills to ensure accuracy and compliance. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures. Capability to monitor vital signs as part of patient care.
