Temporary Dental Hygienist (full or part time)

Job description: About Our Practice We are a small friendly, patient-focused private dental practice looking to cover maternity leave for our current hygienist, from approximately June through August! This position does have the option to become permanent for the right candidate. Hours can be flexible for the right candidate. What You'll Do Perform Prophylactic, Periodontal Therapy and Maintenance Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care in a clear, supportive way Work collaboratively with dentist and team to keep the day running smoothly Help maintain a clean and organized operatory (assisted room turnover often available) What We're Looking For Active Dental Hygienist license in Maine A positive, patient-centered attitude Comfortable stepping into a new office and adapting quickly Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Experience with Curve dental software is a plus, but not required Why You'll Enjoy Working With Us Supportive, welcoming team Well-organized schedule; 1hr Recare, 1.5hr New Patient and SRP Comfortable, private-practice setting Competitive hourly pay Newly constructed office New equipment; instruments replaced as needed/on request Periodontal Charting done with AI voice recording technology (Bola) Digital radiographs taken with light-weight handheld machines Consistent long-time patient base Open hours: Mon 9-5, Tues/Weds 8-5, Thurs 8-2 (1hr lunch Mon-Weds) How to Apply If you're a dependable hygienist who enjoys providing great patient care, we'd love to hear from you!
