• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and oral cancer screenings
• Maintain a sterile working environment
• Utilize dental software systems (such as CURVE) to record patient information and treatment plans
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care ```Qualifications```
• Valid state Independent Dental Hygiene License or Valid state Registered Dental Hygiene License
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Experience working in a dental office setting
• Proficiency in pediatric dental hygiene techniques is a plus
• Confident with Periodontal care / scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance-Comfortable with treatment planning

We are a small well established dental hygiene practice that is growing. Currently one full time hygienist and one part time hygienist, with a full-time office manager. We serve the local community of Limerick and surrounding towns, over 4000 active patients. We refer to local dentist and specialist for treatment. Providing care for the entire family from someone's new baby to their grandparent.
