Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide comprehensive preventive care while helping patients understand and maintain their oral health.

Responsibilities include:

Update patient medical and dental histories Provide oral hygiene instruction, patient education, and caries risk assessment Engage in all aspects of preventative care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, application of fluoride varnish, and placement of dental sealants Take radiographs as deemed necessary by the dentist Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories Use practice management software to maintain documentation and charting for each patient- We use

Active Maine license to practice dental hygiene Radiograph certification Current Basic Life Support certification
