Full-Time Dental Hygienist - Windham, ME A well-established, patient-focused dental practice in the Windham, Maine area is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. This is a confidential search for a motivated professional who values high-quality care, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, friendly, and committed to providing exceptional preventive dental care. You will play a key role in patient education and overall oral health maintenance while working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team.
Schedule:
Full-time (4 days per week) No evenings or weekends required (flexibility may be available)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing Conduct thorough patient assessments, including charting and radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Active Maine Dental Hygiene license (required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach Ability to work efficiently in a team environment Experience with digital charting systems preferred
