Job Summary We are looking for a skilled practitioner with excellent patient care for our practice. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth in accordance with established protocols. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history and dental history Educate patients with oral hygiene instruction and explanation of diagnoses and treatment options Taking and evaluating radiography Maintain strict infection control standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and trust. Support the dental team in maintaining a sterile environment through infection control practices. Stay updated on the latest dental terminology, techniques, and industry best practices to ensure high-quality patient care. Skills Knowledge and proficiency with Dentrix software and charting, including Periodontal charting and treatment planning. Dental terminology/anatomy knowledge Communication skills to relate knowledge and diagnoses to patients Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proper handling of medical records. Supportive of other team members, able to balance responsibilities and can work in a cohesive environment Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
