We are privately owned and operated with a male dentist who has a fresh take on what patients can expect when seeing their dentist. • Focused on quality care Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories to ensure safe and effective treatment plans Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations for optimal dental health Assist with chairside procedures in four-handed dentistry, supporting dentists during exams and treatments with precision and efficiency Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using Open Dental, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Follow infection prevention protocols through aseptic techniques, sterilization of dental instruments, and adherence to healthcare infection control guidelines Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, providing excellent patient care and addressing any concerns promptly Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with medical coding standards to support billing processes Stay updated on dental terminology, equipment operation, and best practices in pediatric dentistry to deliver specialized care when needed Experience Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures Proven experience working in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings with a focus on patient care and education Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Open Dental Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare infection prevention standards Strong understanding of dental equipment operation, X-ray techniques, and infection control protocols Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics when applicable Benefits Continuing education credits Employee discount On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Paid training Join us in delivering outstanding dental care through teamwork, professionalism, and compassion.
