Our office has been an integral part of the Lee's Summit community for nearly 100 years, owned and operated by a local owner with no corporate affiliation. We value our employees and strive to create a supportive, fun, and patient-focused environment. Office is open 8-5pm Mon-Thurs with a one hour lunch. Position availible is 3-4 days a week. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings. Prophy and Perio Maintenance recare appointments scheduled for one hour. Conduct scaling and root planing (SRP) treatments, allocated 90 minutes per appt. Assist in the evaluation and treatment planning for new patients, dedicating 90 minutes per initial assessments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to individual needs. Take dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment procedures in compliance with office protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient experiences. Uphold infection control standards and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Experience Prior experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred; however, we are open to qualified new graduates eager to grow within a supportive team environment! Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, infection control protocols, and radiography is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and work collaboratively with the dental team. Ability to manage time efficiently within scheduled appointment durations while maintaining high-quality care.
