"UNICORN" OFFICE The hygienist at this practice recently descriped the office as herSummit practice as her "unicorn office." We're choosing to take that as a compliment. Now we're looking for a full-time dental hygienist to join the team and find out if the legend is true. We are a family-run private dental group with offices throughout the Kansas City metro. Our Lee's Summit location is a small, one-doctor practice with two hygienists and a fantastic team. We love taking care of our patients and believe great dentistry starts with teamwork, positive attitudes, and giving people enough time to actually provide exceptional care. So what makes this office a unicorn? 1-hour adult prophies 90-minute SRPs 1-hour perio maintenance 30-minute child prophies NO assisted hygiene NO double-booked hygiene NO DSO Open 4 days a week with up to 3 short Fridays per month Great team, great patients, and yes, coffee Nice office with a view We also have the toys: Cavitron Touch Digital sensors Intraoral cameras CBCT, which admittedly isn't going to change your life as a hygienist, but we have one Who we're looking for: We want a hygienist who is invested in the oral health of their patients and brings a friendly, positive attitude to work. Someone who is gentle and compassionate with patients, thorough without being rushed, detail-oriented, flexible, dependable, and genuinely enjoys being part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

Perform thorough and timely prophies and SRPs Take diagnostic X-rays Complete frequent and accurate periodontal charting Perform thorough oral cancer screenings Administer comfortable and effective local anesthesia Maintain thorough and informative clinical notes Recognize and address the individual needs of each patient Partner with the doctor to deliver exceptional patient care Stay current with training, CE, X-ray certification, and CPR certification Follow OSHA guidelines and office protocols

Compensation:

$45+/hour (depending on experience) Potential production-based compensation available for someone interested in that structure If you're looking for a place where you can take great care of patients, have the time to do your job well, and actually enjoy the people you work with, we'd love to meet you.
