Job Details:

Come join a well -established practice that needs a full time Hygienist- 4 day work week! Earn hourly or 30% of production Full ancillary staff for support Health, dental, vision, 401K PTO and paid holidays Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Assist with chairside procedures such as applying sealants, fluoride treatments, and taking dental radiographs (medical imaging). Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during all procedures. Support general dentistry practices by collaborating with dentists and other team members in four-handed dentistry setups for efficiency. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including medical coding and documentation review processes. Monitor patient vital signs and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures when necessary. Uphold all safety standards related to infection control, anatomy knowledge, and medical/medical terminology to ensure high-quality patient care. Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental clinic or dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with children is a plus. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control procedures, and medical records management. Prior experience in chairside assisting and general dentistry enhances your ability to support the team effectively. Active licensure as a Dental Hygienist is required.

Pay:

$50.00 - $53.00 per hour
