Job Description

Our dental practice is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team on a full time basis. We are a sole practitioner practice focusing on patient relationships and patient care first and production second. The ideal candidate should be able to work three to four days per week as well as be knowledgeable in all aspects of dental hygiene, including preventive care, periodontal therapy, and patient education. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, taking x-rays, and performing other duties as assigned. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping people maintain healthy smiles and is committed to providing the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:
Clean teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and nutrition. Document dental history; document dental charting and periodontal charting as appropriate. Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays). Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., fluorides). Remove calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth. Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
