What You'll Do:

Develop policies and procedures relative to the dental health program Perform day-to-day activities during the school year relative to the dental program Establish and maintain appropriate patient records and make dental follow-up referrals and recommendations when necessary Establish and maintain an educational program in collaboration with school officials, area dentists, and the Hospital Assist and participate in various grant projects with the Director of Development for preventative and restorative dental services Oversee the planning of the dental program to meet quality and regulatory standards Serve as a liaison between the Hospital and dental community Advise other Hospital departments as needed Attend yearly DHHS Calibration Clinics for public health dental programs and write yearly reports to the Board of Dental Examiners and DHHS

What We're Looking For:

Required:

Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene Two years' experience as a full-time Dental Hygienist Licensed Dental Hygienist in the State of New Hampshire (RDH) Certified Public Health Dental Hygienist (CPHDH) Ability to communicate/interact with students, faculty, practitioners, and students' families Ability to comprehend instructions and interpret concepts Knowledge of current confidentiality policies, as well as school policies and procedures

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene Four years' experience as a full-time Dental Hygienist and demonstrated experience in program or office management Experience with complex planning and organization Why Join Speare Memorial Hospital?
