Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. We are looking for someone who is warm, friendly, and able to work as a member of a team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and other staff members to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify any potential issues. Utilize dental imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes. Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance the overall patient experience in the clinic. Requirements Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice. Experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Proficient in using dental systems for documentation review and patient management. Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and safety regulations. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of dental hygiene.
