Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team in Closter, NJ on Mondays and Tuesdays OR Tuesdays and Thursdays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. We are primarily out of network, which allows ample appointment times to treat and educate patients. Our patients have been with the practice for many years and we're looking for the perfect candidate to fit our long term needs. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize the iTero scanner for imaging and diagnostics when required. Implement infection control protocols and maintain an aseptic environment within the dental clinic. Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient care. Skills Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and practices. Experience with infection control measures and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and provide education on oral health practices. Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
