Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team! In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings, assessments, and preventive treatments. Your expertise will help promote optimal oral health, educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices, and support our general dentistry practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills make a real difference in patients' lives. Hours 9-5PM, Friday and Saturday Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing on adults and children, apply sealants and fluoride varnish, give local anesthesia Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions Take X-rays while maintaining strict infection control protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care strategies Review and update medical records accurately within Open Dental Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and documentation review Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques Strong understanding of dental coding for billing and documentation purposes Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times Bilingual Chinese preferred
