THIS POSITION IS FOR SATURDAYS, FROM 9AM TO 1 PM.
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! you will provide comprehe nsive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, and support our commitment to creating a welcoming and professional environment. Your expertise will help patients achieve healthier smiles while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. Duties Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, and evaluating oral health status. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing techniques, and preventive care strategies. Follow strict infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, to ensure a safe environment for all. Communicate effectively with patients about their treatment options, procedures, and post-care instructions to foster trust and understanding. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required; a passion for working with children is a plus! Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients clearly and compassionately.Pay:
