We are seeking a part time or full time hygienist Company Overview Raider General Dentistry and Dr. Delaney Pediatric Dentistry, is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care that incorporates the latest technological advances and patient-centered approaches. Our practice specializes in serving patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and special needs patients, with a focus on prevention and education to promote optimal oral health. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental hygiene procedures, patient care, and infection control practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality preventive dental services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting overall patient well-being within a fast-paced dental environment. Duties Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Conduct patient assessments by measuring vital signs and evaluating oral health status. Educate patients on proper dental care techniques and reinforce good oral hygiene habits. Maintain accurate medical records and document treatment notes in electronic health records (EHR) systems Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality. Operate dental equipment efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification. Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings preferred; Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical coding related to dental procedures. Strong understanding of infection control practices, healthcare safety standards, and HIPAA regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively across diverse age groups, including pediatrics. Familiarity with dental equipment operation, X-ray techniques, and dental terminology essential for accurate documentation review. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Pay:
$60.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 32.0 per week
