Qualifications:
One year of dental front desk experience Knowledge of dental insurance protocols and terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, punctual, and a team player Experience with Open Dental software preferred Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures The Treatment Plan Coordinator works alongside the office manager and clinical team to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Ideal candidates should possess a friendly, outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills, along with the ability to direct and help maintain full, productive patient schedules.

Essential Functions:
Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice. Check in patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating patient information. Confirm appointments according to protocol and patient preferences. Schedule appointments for efficient use of doctor and staff time. Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional reception area. Manage the recall and inactive patient systems. Collect patient payments at the time of service. Prepare financial treatment plans and present plan options to patients. Gather and verify patient benefits while maintaining accurate benefit summaries in dental software. Open and close the dental office according to established office protocols. Handle daily cash procedures and balance the day's transactions. Submit insurance claims for completed treatments and process prior authorizations.
