Come join a small and well -established DPO that has a need for full time Hygienist Hourly or 30% production, whichever is higher 4 day work week Health, dental, vision- FULL benefits Single column Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status. Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term dental health. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, including documentation review and medical coding. Follow infection prevention management protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control procedures aligned with healthcare standards such as HIPAA. Operate dental equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and provide excellent client communication to address concerns promptly. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental cleanings and radiographs. Proven experience working in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings with proficiency in dental terminology and equipment. Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation management. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical imaging, vital signs assessment, and pediatrics is highly desirable. Expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control standards (including HIPAA compliance). Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration. Ability to perform chairside assisting with precision while maintaining a high standard of patient care. Knowledge of medical records management, medical coding, and X-ray procedures to support accurate documentation. #LV100
