Job Description Counsel business clients on employment law, workplace matters, compliance, and risk management. Advise employers on employee relations, policies, terminations, discipline, and other workplace issues. Handle employment-related claims, disputes, and litigation from strategy through resolution. Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, policies, and related documents. Help clients proactively identify and address employment-related legal risks. Provide practical business-law guidance alongside employment counsel when client needs overlap. Conduct legal research and prepare motions, correspondence, agreements, and other legal documents. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties. Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses and become a trusted legal advisor. Manage matters and deadlines independently while collaborating with other attorneys and professionals across the firm.
