About us Growing Smiles Children's Dentistry is a small business in Willowick, OH. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Provide excellent care and customer service to children within our community.
Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, including conducting oral examinations and recording medical history.
- Conduct dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and recommend appropriate dental products.
- Take dental x-rays following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Schedule patient appointments.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in dental office procedures, and infection control practices.
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment, aseptic technique, anatomy, and pediatric dentistry.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and Dentrix/Dentrix Ascend software is a plus!
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients ages 1yr-14yrs old.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and follow instructions accurately.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining precise patient records.
