HYGIENIST!

Our patient-focused dental office is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our team!

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday No Friday schedule!

Hours:

Mondays 9 am to 6 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays 7:30 am to 3 pm, Wednesdays 8:30 am to 3 pm, and Thursdays 7:30 am to 3 pm We're looking for someone who:

Duties Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring proper infection prevention protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options. Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency and comfort. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Monitor infection control standards by practicing aseptic techniques and managing sterilization of dental equipment. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Experience with pediatric dentistry and working with pediatric patients is highly preferred. Ability to perform chairside assisting effectively during various dental procedures. Familiarity with dental x-ray procedures, medical imaging, and maintaining medical records. Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration. Pay:

From $48.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 35.0 per week
