Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including SRP's, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent decay and gum disease Take and display dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and patient safety Conduct patient assessments by measuring vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and evaluating oral health status Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, dental care routines, and post-treatment instructions Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Implement infection prevention protocols by adhering to sterilization standards, aseptic techniques, and infection control procedures Requirements Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations Proven experience with dental office software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry Excellent communication skills for client interaction, patient education, and team collaboration Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Ability to perform detailed documentation review, create treatment plans, dental coding, and manage electronic health records efficiently Demonstrated understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control practices Join us in making a difference by providing top-quality dental care with enthusiasm and professionalism.
