We are a fun, supportive group that genuinely enjoys working together and creating a positive experience for children and families. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, patient, and loves working with kids. A calm, reassuring chairside manner and the ability to keep visits upbeat and engaging are especially important in our office. The ideal candidate is also compassionate and experienced in working with children of all ages, including patients with special needs. We take pride in providing excellent dental care in an environment that is welcoming, energetic, and kid-friendly. Qualifications Active Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required) X-Ray Certification (Required) Experience treating pediatric patients with special needs (Required) Strong communication, multitasking, and patient management skills Friendly, professional, and dependable demeanor Schedule Thursdays only 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Permanent part-time position We would love to meet someone who enjoys making dental visits fun while delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures. Collaborate effectively with dentists and other team members. Uphold the highest standards of patient care by demonstrating knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and pediatric dentistry. Experience Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is required, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry preferred. Proficiency in using Dentrix for documentation review and record management. Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements ensures confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
