Overview Are you a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist seeking a permanent position with growth opportunities? As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive dental hygiene services. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations. Provide preventive dental care, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments and progress. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Assist in general dentistry by providing specialized care and educating patients on oral health practices. Utilize dental terminology effectively while communicating with patients and team members. Perform documentation reviews to ensure compliance with dental regulations and standards. Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Qualifications and Skills Proficient in patient assessment techniques and understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures. Strong organizational skills for managing medical records efficiently. Familiarity with infection control standards within a dental clinic setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
