Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history, and dental radiographs (X-rays) using advanced dental imaging equipment. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to enhance their understanding of dental health. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems in Eaglesoft Maintain strict infection prevention protocols by adhering to HIPAA regulations, aseptic techniques, and infection control standards. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and dental terminology standards. Skills Proficiency in dental software platforms including Eaglesoft for efficient record management. Expertise in dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health. Experience with dental equipment operation, dental x-ray procedures, and medical imaging techniques. Excellent patient communication skills to educate patients effectively about dental care and foster trust. Ability to perform patient care tasks and maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Familiarity with infection prevention management practices specific to healthcare environments and dental clinics.

Pay:

$45.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 30.0 per week
