Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and patient safety Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in electronic health record (EHR) Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Support the dental team with general dentistry procedures and provide assistance during complex treatments Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including medical coding when necessary
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
