The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students. Requirements This position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher and graduation from a CODA Accredited Dental Hygiene program. This position requires a valid, unencumbered dental hygiene license (TX license preferred) and a minimum of three years relevant work experience. This position is required to meet minimum requirements for teaching at the post-secondary level set by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and accrediting agencies for individual programs. A criminal background check is required.
