Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. This Position is for Friday's only at a private general practice. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans Take X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and maintain a sterile environment Review medical records for completeness and accuracy prior to procedures Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, and post-treatment care Additional info: 8-5 PM Fridays One hour lunch break This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive team dedicated to providing outstanding dental care.
