REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
(RDH)
Bremerton, Washington Position Highlights:

Desirable Practice Setting:
Practice at a Federally Qualified Health Center where medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy work hand in hand through internal referrals. Bremerton's clinics sit close together.
Ideal Work Environment:
One patient per hour, one column and zero double booking. You'll average about 7.5 patients a day, giving you time to educate instead of racing the clock, with ultrasonic scalers provided and Athena One and NextGen keeping charts organized.
Support & Networking:
Receptionists fill cancellations from a recurring waitlist, dental assistants lend a hand when needed and leadership includes a practicing hygienist. You'll also join a peer group of about seven hygienists across the peninsula.
Professional Growth Opportunities:
New grads can launch their careers in community health with a team that welcomes first-time hygienists.
Compensation & Benefits:
Financial Package:
$95,000 base for 1.0 FTE under either plan, prorated for part-time.
Competitive Bonus Opportunity:
Earn annual raises of up to 5% through performance reviews, with consistent overachievers eligible for a compensation review. Bilingual? The Flexible Plan adds a $2,500 multilingual stipend,
Retention Bonus:
Two plans, one big decision. Go Front-Loaded for a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid up front and a retention schedule that peaks at $40,000 in years two and three before stepping down: $30,000, $40,000, $40,000, $35,000, $30,000, $25,000, $20,000, $15,000, $10,000 and $10,000. That's $255,000 over a decade. Prefer a mix? The Flexible Plan pairs a $15,000 sign-on spread over three years with three months of housing covered, $300 a month in loan assistance, enhanced PTO, a bigger CE budget and a $10,000 retention bonus starting after year four.
Full Benefits:
Build your own coverage with a $7,008 annual cafeteria allowance for medical, dental and vision, and pocket whatever you don't use. Relocation Assistance:
Apply your sign-on bonus to moving, licensing or credentialing costs with no receipts required. Land softly in an employee studio apartment right in Bremerton with rent deducted through payroll, and get your interview flight reimbursed on day one.
Student Loan Repayment Assistance:
Work at an NHSC and Washington State loan repayment site with a HPSA score of 16. On the Flexible Plan, PCHS bridges the gap with up to $300 a month while your HRSA application is pending.
Professional Growth:
The Flexible Plan funds one week of salary plus one week of time for CE each year, which can also cover licensing. The Front-Loaded Plan includes one week of CE hours.

Qualifications:
Degree:
Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Certifications:
Current CPR certification. Don't have it yet? PCHS will help you get it.
Licensure:
Washington State Dental Hygiene license and a valid driver's license. Still waiting on your Washington license? Eligible candidates can interview while licensure is in process.
Skillset:
You thrive on heavier calculus cases and welcome patients returning after a long break. You love teaching prevention
Experience:
Fresh out of school or years in the chair, all experience levels are welcome.
