Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a hygienist who: Holds an active Washington State dental hygiene license Provides thoughtful and comprehensive patient care Is dependable and able to commit to the agreed maternity leave schedule Communicates well with patients, doctors, and the hygiene team Values teamwork and a supportive clinical environment Is comfortable learning an established office's systems and protocols The ideal candidate will have previous clinical experience, although we are open to speaking with hygienists at different stages of their careers when there is a strong clinical and cultural fit. Completion Bonus A $2,000 completion bonus will be paid after the hygienist successfully completes the agreed maternity leave assignment through the scheduled end date and remains in good standing. The specific dates, attendance expectations, and completion-bonus terms will be documented in the employment offer. Opportunities Beyond March We typically know our team's PTO schedule well in advance and are also building relationships with a small group of trusted hygienists who would like recurring opportunities throughout the year. There is no requirement to continue beyond the maternity leave, but someone who is a great fit may have the opportunity to return for future planned coverage. Our Hiring Process Our process begins with a conversation so we can learn more about what you are looking for and tell you more about our practice. Candidates who appear to be a strong mutual fit will then be invited for a paid working interview. Ideally, the selected hygienist will also have an opportunity to work with us before January so that both the hygienist and our team feel comfortable before the maternity leave begins.
