Description About Us Dr. C Family Dentistry is a patient-centered practice dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the dentist to deliver exceptional patient care, support oral health education, and contribute to an efficient and positive clinical environment.

Monday:
6:30 AM•5:00
PM Wednesday:
1:30 PM•8:00 PM (1st & 3rd Wednesdays start at 1:00 PM for staff meetings)
Thursday:
1:30 PM•8:00
PM Friday:
6:30 AM•3:00 PM Key Responsibilities Prepare and properly set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures Review and update patient health histories and maintain accurate clinical documentation Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing for periodontal patients Assess patient oral health through exams, charting, and medical history review Identify early signs of periodontal disease and areas of concern Take and interpret digital radiographs independently Use periodontal probes to evaluate gum health and recession Clearly communicate findings with patients and the doctor Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, and home care compliance Apply fluoride and other cavity-preventive treatments Assist the dentist during hygiene exams as needed Support sterilization and infection control protocols Maintain hygiene instruments and equipment in proper working order Manage time effectively to stay on schedule and support team efficiency Perform additional duties as assigned Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Qualifications Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Washington (required) 1+ year of dental office experience preferred Experience with EMR systems and dental terminology Strong understanding of periodontal health and treatment protocols Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Key Skills Proficiency with dental technology and digital imaging Strong attention to detail and thoroughness Excellent communication and patient education skills Commitment to infection control and patient safety Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Dedication to continued learning and professional growth Why Join Dr. C Family Dentistry?
