HIGH QUALITY

X-ray images using dental imaging equipment such as CBCT and digital radiography systems; ensure proper positioning and safety measures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic (we use Oryx, it's easy to use!) ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs of pediatric and adult patients when necessary, supporting overall patient health assessments. Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions, dental terminology, and procedural steps to promote understanding and comfort. Support general dentistry procedures when needed, including prosthodontics or other restorative treatments, demonstrating versatility within the clinic. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred, especially with endodontic or pediatric dentistry procedures. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry, chairside assisting, and infection control practices. Familiarity with dental software platforms like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for scheduling, documentation, and medical coding purposes. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and medical terminology to accurately support clinical activities. Experience with medical imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture precise diagnostic images. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security at all times. Ability to communicate effectively using dental terminology with team members and patients alike.
