Dental Lab Ceramist (Buena Park, CA) Hiossen Implant - 2.4 Buena Park, CA Job Details $25 - $40 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits AD&D insurance Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Custom prosthetic fabrication Ceramics Polishing Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Perform ceramic layering and anatomical carving on implant abutments and superstructures for implant crown fabrication Precisely adjust margins and contact points on implant copings and frameworks; verify and correct fit prior to firing Apply porcelain build-up on zirconia, PFM (Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal), and other framework materials for implant superstructures Perform shade matching and custom characterization to achieve natural, patient-specific results Execute firing, glazing, and finishing processes including surface polishing, final luster, and texture refinement using rubber points, diamond paste, and polishing wheels Perform quality inspection and final contouring and occlusal adjustment of completed implant crowns Utilize CAD/CAM systems for digital design and post-milling processing where applicable Read and interpret prescriptions and specifications received from dentists Communicate with partner dental clinics regarding case details including shade, design requests, and scheduling via phone and email Receive and register orders in the ERP system; handle case intake, recordkeeping, and shipment/receipt confirmation Perform inventory checks for materials and supplies; assist with basic document organization and data entry Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment at all times Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in implant crown fabrication, ceramic layering, framework adapting, and polishing; level negotiable based on experience Working knowledge of implant superstructures including abutments and screw-retained restorations Proficiency with zirconia, E-Max, PFM, PFZ, PFG, and other common restoration materials Strong color sense and fine manual dexterity for detailed anatomical carving and shade matching Strong understanding of dental aesthetics and occlusion Good communication skills with ability to interact professionally with dental clinic clients Night guard fabrication experience Comfortable with basic office software (Excel, document preparation) Strong attention to detail and patience for meticulous, repetitive work Certified Dental Technician (CDT) license preferred Experience with CAD/CAM software (3Shape, Exocad, etc.) preferred Portfolio of implant cases (single crowns, bridges, etc.) preferred Experience with client-facing communication or sales support for dental clinics preferred Completion of overseas dental technology training (e.g., German or Japanese layering techniques) preferred Willingness to learn new digital dentistry technologies preferred

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:
