Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-time Dental Laboratory Technician in our Prosthodontic office to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics and restorations, supporting the clinical team with precise laboratory work, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about dental fabrication and laboratory techniques to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Fabricate custom dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants using advanced laboratory techniques and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools. Assist with chairside procedures by preparing materials and supporting the clinical team during patient appointments. Operate and maintain dental equipment such as micrometers, dental articulators, and 3D CAD modeling software to ensure precision in fabrication. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques, to maintain a sterile laboratory environment. Support the laboratory with inventory management of dental materials and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and maintenance. Requirements Proven laboratory experience in dental fabrication or related fields; familiarity with dental equipment and materials is essential. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and medical coding practices relevant to dentistry. Experience with CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Manufacturing) systems for designing custom prosthetic components.
