Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Office Support Staff member to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative and clinical support tasks. Your expertise will help maintain smooth clinic operations, uphold patient care standards, and ensure compliance with ADA regulations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify appointments, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes using patient management software. Schedule appointments, confirm patient details, and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily workflow. Assist with medical documentation, including updating electronic health records (EMR systems) such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments according to infection prevention management protocols and dental sterilization procedures. Support clinical staff during procedures by providing chairside assistance, including passing instruments, managing dental equipment, and maintaining aseptic technique. Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while adhering to dental x-ray safety standards and anatomy knowledge. Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, including dental instruments, prosthodontics materials, and medical imaging tools. Maintain clinical confidentiality policies by safeguarding patient information and adhering to HIPAA standards at all times. Qualifications Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, team members, and external providers. Willingness to learn.
