Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Sterilization and Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will ensure the highest standards of infection control and sterilization protocols while supporting the fabrication and finishing of orthodontic appliances. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional patient care by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with orthodontists, dental assistants, and laboratory professionals to create precise, high-quality dental restorations and appliances that improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Perform sterilization procedures for orthodontic instruments, dental tools, and laboratory equipment following strict infection control protocols in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare, clean, and organize laboratory materials, including dental prostheses, appliances, and related components. Assist with the fabrication of orthodontic devices such as retainers and aligners Maintain detailed documentation and records for all laboratory procedures in while adhering to HIPAA standards. Assist with patient assessments related to orthodontic appliance fitting and adjustments Ensure proper handling of medical imaging equipment and accurate interpretation of anatomy knowledge forappliance fabrication. Experience Experience in dental is a plus, but not required. Willing to train on the job.
