Dental Laboratory Ceramist (Builder) Part time orFull-Time Position Summary:
Responsible for fabricating a wide range of fixed and appliances according to dentist prescriptions and established laboratory protocols, ensuring high-quality, functional, and esthetic results. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret dental prescriptions, work orders, and accompanying documentation Fabricate, adjust, and finish dental restorations and appliances, such as: Crowns, bridges, inlays/onlays Perform contouring, occlusal adjustment, and finishing/polishing of restorations Shade selection/verification and stain/glaze application as needed Check fit, contacts, occlusion, margins, and overall quality before finalizing cases Follow lab protocols, turnaround times, and productivity expectations Communicate with team members (case coordinators, designers, quality control, etc.) regarding case issues or clarifications Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow infection control and safety procedures Participate in training and stay current with new materials, techniques, and technologies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Formal dental technology training or equivalent on‑the‑job experience preferred 3-5 Year of experience Knowledge of basic dental anatomy, occlusion, and restoration types Previous dental lab experience (entry to mid-level; adjust as needed) Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination Ability to read and follow detailed technical instructions and prescriptions Strong attention to detail, quality, and esthetics Good communication and teamwork skillsCompetencies:
