Full-Time Pay:
Starting at $20.00/hour, with potential for an increase after successful completion of training MedPro Repair is looking for a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented individual who enjoys troubleshooting, working with precision tools, and understanding how mechanical systems work. You will be trained to become a Mechanical Repair Technician specializing in dental handpieces (drills) . Previous dental handpiece repair experience is not required. We will train the right candidate who demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to learn technical repair skills. Responsibilities Learn to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and test dental handpieces Disassemble and reassemble small precision components Identify worn or damaged parts and determine appropriate repairs Replace bearings, turbines, cartridges, O-rings, and other components Troubleshoot mechanical and performance issues Use precision tools and specialized testing equipment Perform quality-control checks on completed repairs Accurately document repairs and maintain an organized work area What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in understanding how things work Excellent manual dexterity and comfort working with small components Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Patience and the ability to perform precise, repetitive hands-on work Ability to follow detailed procedures and learn new technical skills Dependability and a strong work ethic Experience in mechanical repair, electronics, equipment repair, precision assembly, machining, automotive repair, small engines, device repair, or similar hands-on technical work is beneficial but not required . Relevant technical experience may come from previous employment, vocational or technical training, independent projects, or other practical hands-on experience. This position requires sustained focus and hands-on work with small precision components and tools throughout much of the workday. Training Dental handpiece repair is a specialized skill, and hands-on training will be provided.
