Dental Lab Locums-Temp Technician Affordable Care, LLC - 2.9 Greensboro, NC Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time 19 hours ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Qualifications Fabrication High school diploma or GED Driver's License Removable prosthodontics Driving Full Job Description Dental Laboratory Locums Full Technician | Part-Time Denture Technician Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced Dental Laboratory Locums Full Technician to provide part-time technical support across dental laboratory locations within the assigned service area. This position is responsible for the complete fabrication of full and partial dentures, including tooth setup, waxing, bending wire, finishing, and processing. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Full Denture Technician, Dental Lab Technician, or Denture Technician who values flexibility and enjoys working in different dental laboratory environments. Position Details Part-time position Hours and workdays vary weekly based on laboratory needs. Technician will drive their own vehicle to assigned locations within the designated area. Mileage is reimbursed for travel between applicable work locations. Benefits are not offered with this position. Schedule is based on business needs and may vary from week to week. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Fabricate full and partial dentures from start to finish, including: Setting teeth Waxing Bending wire Finishing Processing Perform denture relines, repairs, occlusal rims, and custom trays. Complete denture cases according to established laboratory procedures and quality standards. Provide technical support at different dental laboratory locations as assigned. Periodically serve as Associate Lab Manager in the manager's absence. Follow OSHA protocols and established dental laboratory safety procedures. Cross-train and assist in other areas of the laboratory as needed. Work collaboratively with dental laboratory teams to complete cases accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Required Qualifications & Experience Professional experience fabricating full and partial dentures from start to finish. Hands-on experience with denture setup, waxing, processing, finishing, repairs, and relines. Ability to successfully complete a bench assessment as part of the hiring process. Same-day denture experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to travel to assigned dental laboratory locations using a personal vehicle. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to adapt quickly to different laboratory environments, workflows, and team members. General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Confident and comfortable working with your hands. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Mechanical ability and/or artistic ability. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team-oriented dental laboratory environment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Highly organized and dependable. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Understanding of OSHA protocols and dental laboratory safety practices. Willingness to cross-train in all areas of the dental laboratory. Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, locations, and laboratory needs. Why Join Our Team?
